When you think about it, this step is made up of 2 more sub-steps: (1) finding what people are buying like crazy, and (2) who are the merchants catering to the hungry crowd’s clamor for the product or service.

There are literally hundreds of sources and ways to find what’s selling like pancakes nowadays. And a surefire way to find out in less than 5 minutes is by looking to the best-seller section of online shops or malls like:

- BestBuy.com
- ebay.com
- And a lot more

The hot products can be a fiction book, a GPS unit, a mobile phone, the latest album of the newest American Idol champ - the list is endless. Get this right and the second step is already settled since the online shopping malls like

Affiliates serve as the bridge linking the customers and online merchants. Again, there are hundreds of ways to connect them. Here are some of the most popular ways to bridge that gap:

3. Forum Marketing - This is more of like the ‘Good Samaritan’ style of marketing. You go to the forums related to your niche and product. Look for questions and give quality answers to it, while your signature is doing the
marketing - enticing the guys you helped to click on it and buy.

4. E-mail Marketing - Ok, if you’re thinking about spamming random people - no that’s not it! That’s not e-mail marketing that’s…well spamming. This involves having a list of e-mails who opted in to be a member of your group or subscribed to your newsletter. On your e-mails, you can sell as many products as you want since they agreed to it. Don’t overdo it though as people would unsubscribe faster than you can say ‘e-mail marketing’!

Yesterday I was thinking of why people fail online, when the information out there exists and is the same to everyone?…

What is the real truth about people in the affiliate marketing business?

You probably think that most of the top Internet Gurus are holding back vital information to you, and well in some way that may be true, but I think the actual problems goes in a different direction.

To illustrate my point:

How many times have thought:

"Wow this opportunity seems awesome, I must get in right, oh this is going to be so good!"…, and immediately you start dreaming about what you would like to do with all the cash you are going to bring in with your new business, am I right?…

Well, there is nothing wrong with dreaming, but remember, dreaming will get you nowhere, acting will!

By the way, one big mistake newbie affiliates makes is to leave their job, and well…, that is a big no, no!

Keep you current job for a while, you will need it to fund your new business.

Now if you really want to start and keep a business alive, even if it is a business like an affiliate marketer, you must treat it like a real business, not just like a hobby.

We where taking about treating your affiliate business like a real business and therefore an important question that you have to answer is:

"Do You Have What It Takes?"

Remember, having an online business is not for everyone, so take a couple of minutes thing about the above question and come back again.

There is 3 things questions you must answer in when you are trying to build your business, and it is not complicated but it have to be done:

1) What is my target?

2) How Much Time/Money or both am I ready to use?

3) Am I going to be consistent with my goals?

Of course those three questions are not some miraculous solution to all your financial problems.

Anyway how I see it, money is important but it isnt the most important thing in life.

Of course, I am not you and we are not here to talk about me…

So, can you answer sincerely to those questions above. If you can i can assure you that you will get more organized in your life, but of course and once again only if you take some kind of action.

For example:

1) Have you planned to do something to achieve your target this week?

Well, dont procastinate, do it now, dont wait until tomorrow, because, tomorrow you wont do it.

2) Do you have a monthly budget ready to use?

No money? Ok but what about your time? How much time can you "spend"? Get organized…

3) Are you going to be consistent with your goals?

That my friend I can not answer…, You are the only one that can answer this and you only, you know yourself better then me, right?

Take a moment and think about it, and get yourself, your life and your business organized today.

So, once again,

"Do you have what it takes?…"
